Documents to prepare before you move

The folder you will be very glad you made: originals, copies and translations in one place.

What this is: One folder, on paper and on your phone, holding the documents a move to Switzerland can ask for, gathered before anyone asks.
Why it matters: Certificates from abroad take time to order, and your commune, landlord, insurer and school may each ask for a different one. With the folder ready, you answer the same day.

Which of these apply to your household?

Free to start. We put them in order and show who owns each one.

settlein is a guidance tool, not a lawyer, tax adviser, insurer or public office. Where we have not verified a figure against an official source, we leave it blank.
